Blazing Star Sanctuary is part of CPC's almost 20,000 acres of protected lands that make up the Katy Prairie Preserve system. It took almost five years of careful planning and determination to launch Blazing Star Sanctuary as a Conservation Burial Ground as well as a newly restored Tall Grass Prairie preserve.
