STEWARDSHIP SATURDAY (Williams Prairie)

Looking for a way to get your hands dirty and help the prairie? Come join us for a STEWARDSHIP SATURDAY! Volunteers help manage invasive species, plant native plants, and restore prairie habitats.

All ages are welcome to participate - no experience necessary!

Physical Requirements: Bending, kneeling, or sitting on the ground; some light lifting.

What to wear: Closed-toe shoes, tall socks, long pants, long-sleeved shirt, hat.

What to bring: Reusable water bottle, gardening gloves (or we have pairs to borrow). All other tools are provided.

NOTE: This is a special Stewardship Saturday at Williams Prairie Preserve located at Hepplewhite Drive and FM 359 in Brookshire, TX.

Join us for our monthly nature hike, Ranger Trek on the Prairie, immediately after Stewardship Saturday. Enjoy a casual guided hike through the prairie to learn about wildflowers, insects, and birds.
